And, spent a lot of time thinking how how to grow this organization
to its maximum potential! Yesterday, among other things, I sent a
Thank You card to Todd Melloh of Samaritan's Feet for speaking at
the luncheon on Tuesday. On Saturday, I will set up on the corner
with Pastor Ben's Flea market Fundraiser on the Road to raise funds
to sustain all the activities necessary to grow and support me and
our cause. Anticipated ongoing expenses are, (1) We will need
several copies to pass out at the two events next week and for
information and resources purposes in our community (ongoing), (2)
gas to do work in the community, make all the meetings and
networking events, do outreach work and to eat and drink while I am
in the field (and for those who are working with me on any given
day). (3) storage of the donated items, and (4) other incidentals
involved in running a business and a successful organization on a
daily basis. Storage is $50.00 a month and we must have that in
place each month. We also must have gas to attend the HO.P.E. Team
meeting and the Ministerial Alliance breakfast. Rev. Lyons has
vowed to help up collect cell phones each month a the breakfast.
Also accepted and invitation from Scott Emmet of Hubler Chevrolet
to attend a Rainmakers meeting on Tuesday morning. I am hoping to
bring Rainmakers on as a CP or at least have them collect phones at
any one of their many weekly meetings.
